Ordered this badge alongside my pin. I really like how you can customize whatever number you want and sometimes letters if the options allow. The craftsmanship is great! The badges can take a little while to ship, though. They're definitely solid, however.

Im a retired police officer with 31 years. I worked Rampart Division in the early 90's. At the time badges weren't issued with the officers actual serial number. I left the L.A.P.D. for the Santa Ana Police Department. When I left L. A. I had to return my badge (Unlike Santa Ana) where I was allowed to keep my badges. Once I saw the Los Angeles badge with the city hall it took me back. It's as official looking as the badge issued to me. I had my serial number embossed on the front plate. I would recommend any former officer to purchase the badge of their department.
